Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Ball

fresh2o was delighted to be involved with the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix recently, as the nominated charity for the Grand Prix Ball. The Ball, which included a charity auction in aid of fresh2o, raised money for our water projects in Madagascar.

fresh2o's mission touched the heart of global pop sensation Janet Jackson, who attended the Ball as an ambassador for fresh2o and generously donated an exclusive tour package to be auctioned.

The lucky winner bid AED125,000 for the chance to go backstage during one of Janet's tour concerts for a once-in-a-lifetime meet and greet with the US star, however a second guest matched the bid, and Janet agreed to accept both and will now host two lucky guests.

Guests at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Ball mingled with top celebrities including Indian tennis superstar Vijay Amritraj, model and fashion-icon Kimberly Stewart, Oscar-winning actors Jeremy Irons and Marisa Tomei, actress Neve Cambell, and Grammy-award winning singer Janet Jackson.

Entertainment for the evening included performances by Latino legends The Gipsy Kings and operatic tenor, Jean Luc Viala as well as young British singer Peter Grant.
