Art Competition Results

fresh2o is pleased to announce the results of the Art Competition that we ran earlier in the summer.

We asked you to paint a picture, create a photographic image or illustration or a piece of creative writing to describe what fresh water means to you.

To us here at fresh2o, water is life; it cleanses, purifies and hydrates. This crucial element for human existence is a highly precious commodity, and as much as a sixth of the world's population today still lack essential access to clean water and sanitation. This crisis kills one child every 17 seconds and five million people each year.

We wanted you to think about the water crisis and how you use water everyday and then use your creative talents to convey your thoughts and feelings visually or in writing.

We were very moved by some of the responses we received, and it was very difficult to choose the winners, but choose them we did, and here they are with some of the judges responses;

The Art Competition winners will spend a day in the studio with Artist Sacha Jafri as their prize, while Gabriella will spend a day working behind the scenes with Art Director Stephen Reid at The Sunday Times Magazine. Our runners-up will each receive a fresh2o t-shirt, a signed fresh2o celebrity print and some fresh2o chocolates.
